GOODBYE PARTY FOR MISS
PUSHPA T.S.

Read the poem

Ans: Farewell party to Miss Pushpa T.S. is

Ans: It was a farewell party to Miss Pushpa
T.S. As per everyone had shown their warm regards for her, it represents that Miss
Pushpa was a generous lady, whom everyone liked her and respected her, she
belonged to a reputed family, she was pleasant and joyful lady, she was famed
teacher in that school and hard worker too. There is nothing more explanation
about her in poem to narrate it.
3) Write in 2 or 3 sentences about Miss Pushpa’s family.
Ans: Miss Puspa is belonged to an affluent family
as per the speaker and her father was a famous advocate in Surat as speaker
once met him his uncle’s house.

Ans: The following lines from the poem which reveal

“You are all-knowing, friends, what sweetness

Ans: As per the poet mentioned. All they
gathered there to wish a farewell address. There is no sign of any introduction
or welcoming any other person. So, overall it was a farewell address.

Ans: The speaker remembers that once he
stayed in Surat with the family members of his uncle’s family. Miss Pushpa’s
father was a renowned advocate from a very high family in Bulsar or Surat.
c) Is this remark apt in the context?
Ans: No, it is not contextual.
2. “Just now only I will do it”
a) Who does “I” refer to here?
Ans: Here, “I” refers to Miss Pushpa.
b) What does “it” mean here?
Ans: “It” means any duty given to Miss Pushpa.
c) What does this show of the “I” referred to?
Ans: She did any job given to her swiftly and
gladly. It shows Miss Pushpa’s devotion to her work.
